Fashcultivate

An exhibition celebrating the UAE’s date palm as both a cultural symbol and a vital material resource. The project presents Irthi-commissioned research into sustainable biotextiles derived from date palm fibres, integrating material innovation with microscopic fibre analysis to explore new applications for contemporary fashion. The research is led by Dr. Sandra Piesik.
